Tekken 8 Guest Characters Tifa and Cloud? FF7 Co. Director To Guest Bandai Namco’s Event

Tifa and Cloud as Guest Characters in Tekken 8? Tekken 8 currently features 32 characters in its roster. With Eddy Gordo coming out in Tekken 8 Season 1, there’s been no sign of any Guest Characters for Tekken 8. So, when are we getting Tekken 8 Guest Characters, Bandai Namco and Harada? Pretty soon, actually. There is loads of evidence supporting the fact that the first two Guest Characters in Tekken 8 will be Tifa and Cloud Strife.

Update: Unfortunately, Motomu Toriyama gave updates on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, stating that the game will feature tons of replayability as the game is split into chapters and 2 discs. For now, there’s no word on Guest Characters coming to Tekken 8.

Tekken 8 Guest Characters Tifa and Cloud? Harada Responds…

So far, fans have been urging Harada to add Guest Characters to Tekken 8. Twitter has been trending and begging Harada to add Final Fantasy 7’s sweetheart and member of the Eco-Terrorist Group AVALANCHE, Tifa Lockhart, in Tekken 8. But Harada debunked this rumor with just one Tweet stating that he’s in no mood for guest characters, for the time being.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s Co. Director Heading To Bandai Namco’s Event At The Taipei Game Show?

Yet, there’s a bit of a twist here. It’s expected that Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII Remake will still debut as a Guest Character along with Cloud Strife, the former 1st Class SHINRA Soldier. All odds point in the direction of Tifa and Cloud making their way to Tekken 8’s Guest Character lineup. Here’s why:

According to the Official FFVII Remake X (Twitter) page, the Co. Director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and long-time Square Enix Developer, Motomu Toriyama, and Battle Director, Hiroko Endo, will be making their way on stage to the Bandai Namco Game Program at the Taipei Game Show taking place on 27 January 2024 in Taiwan.

Tekken Guest Characters Noctis Lucis Caelum

Considering Square Enix collaborated with Bandai Namco before, bringing Noctis Lucis Caelum to Tekken 7. And with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s release date on the horizon (February 29, 2024), it would make sense for Cloud and Tifa to be the first two Guest Characters in Tekken 8.

So Who’ll Be The First Guest Character In The King of Iron Fist Tournament 8?

Fans are trending Tifa on X (formerly Twitter), urging Harada to add Tifa and Cloud to Tekken 8. FF7’s Co. Director, Motomu Toriyama, will be making his way to the Bandai Namco Event at the Taipei Game Show with a surprise.
