Players who try to hop into a lounge and initiate an online match are stuck on a loading screen till the game eventually crashes. Tekken 8 Online crashes aren’t just limited to one platform. These Tekken 8 black screen and freeze issues are happening on all platforms.

Tekken 8 Keeps Crashing and The Devs Are Working On A Fix

In light of recent Tekken 8 server crashes, The Official Tekken X page took to the scene on January 26 and acknowledged the fact that Tekken 8 servers are experiencing traffic congestion in quick play matchmaking and competition servers.

The Tekken 8 devs stated that they identified the source of the issue and had scheduled a fix for the problem. Within a few hours, the devs launched a server fix, ensuring that players would now enjoy a more streamlined and crash-free Tekken 8 matchmaking and competitive experience. Some players got to enjoy the game while others are still waiting for their share of Tekken 8 Crash fixes…

Tekken Players Still Experiencing Crashes in Online Matches – Get Ready For The Next Crash?

All’s well that ends well, but recent reports on r/Tekken indicate that players are still experiencing crashes while trying to go through leaps and bounds, in hopes of playing online ranked matches in Tekken 8.

This isn’t the first time Tekken has experienced server issues with online multiplayer. Tekken 7 had its fair share of bugs, with an iffy netcode. The online experience was subpar, especially if you were playing on Wi-Fi. The developers have ensured that the new Tekken 8 rollback netcode will allow players to have a more lag-free multiplayer experience, but Tekken 8’s online multiplayer experience still has a long way to go.

Games featuring online multiplayer have always had their fair share of server issues on launch, and Tekken 8 Crash Errors for online matches are no exception. It will take some time before the developers launch a decent patch or hotfix, to resolve all Tekken 8 Crash issues. 

Till then, enjoy The Dark Awakens Story Mode, and Arcade Mode because Tekken 8’s storyline has piqued in terms of storytelling and has filled in many plot holes that were left unanswered in previous Tekken titles. Train and hone your skills in the new Practice Mode and polish your mains till Tekken 8’s server crash issues are completely resolved.
