Litten Community Day Adding Signature Move In Pokemon GO

The newest World of Wonders season has started in Pokemon GO with it comes a whole new lineup of events, Pokemon, rewards and more for players to enjoy the game, and for the newest upcoming Community Day for March, Litten is arriving with its signature move from Alola. The Litten Community is arriving on March 16 from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

Litten Community Day Exclusive Move and Darkest Lariat

Litten the small fire cat Pokemon will be featured on this community day where it will be spawning very frequently for three whole hours of the duration. Its shiny version will also be up for grabs, and as with all community days, its shiny encounter chance will also be increased, making it the perfect way to get it.

Players that catch Litten or have one already can opt to gather enough Candy to evolve it into its final evolution. Incineroar will also come with two new Moves, the Community Day exclusive charged attack being Blast Burn that Incinceroar will learn automatically if players evolve it during the Litten Community Day or up to 5 hours after it ends on the same day. This is a suitable move known as the strongest Fire Type attack that would go along well with Incineroar which is a Fire and Dark Type. Moreover, its signature move that’s coming alongside this one is a Dark Type attack, so the Pokemon will suitably be able to learn two attacks, both benefitting from its Same Type Move boost.

Alongside its charged attack, there will be the debut of its signature move, Darkest Lariat, which is exclusive to Incineroar in the original mainline Alola region Pokemon titles, Pokemon Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon. This same move is being added to Pokemon GO on the Litten Community Day.

Litten Community Day

The power for Blast Burn is 110 in both Trainer Battles and Raids and will pack a huge punch, while Darkest Lariat comes with a whopping 120 Attack Damage in Trainer Battles and 80 in Raids. This would now give Incineroar two potential moves that do huge amounts of damage, and both are separate Type moves that would account for Incineroar’s own Type Matchup. This is the perfect time for Pokemon GO players, especially competitive ones, to go out and participate in the community day to add the Pokemon and the new moveset to their roster.

There’s not just Litten and its new moves to get in the Litten Community Day, there are many more bonuses, rewards and things to enjoy on March 16.

Litten Community Day Bonuses

Bonuses active during the upcoming Community will include bonus XP, bonus Candy and XL candy, the usual boost to Incense and Lures and more, including an additional special trade and more. Here is the full list of all the bonuses:

  • Players will get 3 times the usual XP from catching Pokemon during the Community Day period. This will be suitable for people wanting quick XP as the bonus spawns of the featured Pokemon will help players get an enormous amount, and even more so if they have and use Lucky Eggs.
  • There will also be a 2x boost to Candy received from catching Pokemon, making it the perfect way to gather enough for Litten when it will be spawning everywhere in ample.
  • Players that are Level 31 and over will also have two times the normal chance to get XL Candy, providing an efficient way to get more for Litten so that they can grow Incineroar even higher. Combine a high CP Incineroar with a Blast Burn and Darkest Lariat Charged moveset and a high charging Fast Attack, you’ll have one of the strongest Pokemon in the game.
  • Lure Modules used during the event will last for three hours instead of the usual one.
  • Incenses will also last for three hours instead of the usual one.
  • Snapshots taken during the Litten Community Day will have a special surprise for players, so be sure to take some pictures!
  • There will be an additional Special Trade available to all players on the Litten Community Day, so they can have a total of two on March 16. This Bonus will also be active for a longer duration from 2 PM at the start of the Community Day Event till 10 PM later that night.
  • Trades will cost 50% less Stardust as well, making it the perfect combination with the above extra Special Trade. If players were planning on trading a Pokemon, the Litten Community Day would be the time to get together and swap some.

The Community Day will have plenty of bonuses and activities going for itself to have players play Pokemon GO with friends. There will also be special Community Day Raids, Research, and more to enjoy.

Litten Community Day Special Raids

Special Raids for the featured Pokemon will start appearing after the main active period ends at 5 PM. In these, there will be 4 Star Torracat that players can join up and defeat by using normal Raid Passes or Premium Raid Passes. When defeated, the area around the Gym where this 4 Star Torracat was defeated will spawn more Litten, and all of these will have the same chance to be a shiny as the ones that spawned during the main three events before. These spawns from Gyms will last for thirty minutes after Torracat is defeated.

Players won’t be able to use Remote Raid Passes to join these, however, as the real reward wouldn’t be encounterable due to their remote location. Hence those who still want to continue catching Litten can get together and keep playing Pokemon after the three main hours of the Litten Community Day.

Field Research

Community Day-themed Field Research will also be available on the same day of the event that will reward players with more Litten encounters, as well as items like Great Balls, Stardust and more.

Showcases

Community Day Showcases featuring Litten will also spawn during the event, so players can look to catch the biggest Litten they can and enter it to get some exclusive rewards.

Bundles and More

For the Litten Community Day, there will be two special Boxes available in the ingame Shop that will give players a bundle of different helpful items.

The bigger one will cost 1350 Pokecoins and will give players 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM and 5 Lucky Eggs.

The smaller one will cost 480 Pokecoins, giving players 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators and 1 Lure Module.

Additionally, the Pokemon GO Web Store will also hold an exclusive Box that players can purchase directly for $9.99. This one would give players 120 Ultra Balls, 6 Normal Incubators, 15 Silver Pinap Berries, and 1 Incense.

These bundles aren’t necessary to enjoy the Litten Community Day, but those who aren’t uncomfortable spending some cash can check them out and consider buying any if they like one.

Litten Community Day

There will be Litten-themed stickers coming too so players can look to get some and send a few via gifts to friends. Overall, there’s much to gain from playing the game on March 16, so if you think all or any of the stuff we’ve shared above is worthwhile, do try out the mobile title.
