Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Amiibos releasing on November 3rd

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a big achievement by Nintendo and is a critically acclaimed title, being seen as one of the best releases of this year and a potential contender for Game of the Year and various other awards by critics and fans alike. The game has achieved much limelight and holds one of the highest and fastest-selling records in the gaming industry. The videogame title came as the first 70 US dollar title from Nintendo alongside a special Link Amiibo as well as a whole special edition Nintendo Switch Oled system themed around the Zelda title. A little while afterwards, two new Amiibos were announced coming in November for another main protagonist as well as the antagonist of the game.

Zelda and Ganon are getting their Amiibos from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with some retail US chains already putting them up for display but not quite just letting people take them home before November 3rd.

Fans were sceptic in their thoughts that Link would be the only Amiibo coming as Breath of the Wild saw many different Amiibos aside from the main two characters. Tears of the Kingdom also brought back a renowned Zelda character, Ganon, with a brand new design that fans immediately took a liking to. The announcement at a Nintendo Direct was rejoiced by fans as Link will not be put alone on shelves as Zelda and Ganon both are almost available at stores in a few days.

The amiibos were even indirectly leaked before their announcement, as the Amiibo functionality was hidden within the game’s code itself. Fans found out some functions were still unavailable and hinted that they’d most likely be coming from future amiibos.

The Zelda Amiibo will give players weapons and materials by scanning it, as well as an exclusive design for Link’s Paraglider in the game.

The Ganon Amiibo will also give players weapons and other materials plus an exclusive design themed around the Gerudo antagonist.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are getting 2 Amiibos as well and the Sora Amiibo from Kingdom Hearts is coming next year to conclude the whole lineup of Super Smash Brothers.

November is also getting a lineup of Splatoon 3 Amiibos themed around three Deep Cut characters.

For those interested in picking up Zelda or Ganon, here are a few links to various US outlets from where you can purchase them online. Zelda is an immensely popular character so her amiibo is constantly getting sold out, but you can check back on November 3rd after the release as it will hopefully be in stock. You can also check out the Link Amiibo if you don’t own that already.
