Pokemon GO Wooper Community Day

November’s Community Day starring the Johto Region’s smiling Pokemon Wooper is having its very own Pokemon GO community day as well as its brand new Paldean form alongside their evolutionary forms.

The Wooper Community Day will be on November 5th from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. It will be starring Wooper and Quagsire, its evolution, but as there is a brand new form of Wooper in the Paldean region, that form will also be available throughout the event as well as its unique evolution, Clodsire. Players will be able to stock up on plenty of Wooper candy and will have the perfect chance to add both Woopers to their Pokemon roster.

Two Smily Forms of Wooper:

The average Wooper is a Water and Ground Type with the same case for its evolution. Paldean region’s Wooper however, who debuted in the latest titles of the mainline Pokemon videogames, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, have adapted to their environment to live in muddy areas and come as a Poison and Ground Combination of a Pokemon. The Paldean Clodsire is a similar case sharing the same Typing with its pre-evolution. Both forms of Wooper come with many unique uses and fit into the game differently as the type matchup is an essential element of Pokemon Battles.

They’re both equally cute however and they both have their signature smile. Quagsire and Clodsire are a bit more unlike each other but not all that too much. Their shiny forms will be available to lucky trainers during the Wooper Community Day so players will want to take full advantage of the event’s three-hour duration this Sunday.

Quagsire/Clodsire Community Day Moves:

Another Community Day brings another chance to have the Community Day Pokemon learn an exclusive move that would be very useful for players in Battles and Raids. As there are two different forms of Wooper, there are two different Community Day Moves for each ones’ evolutions.

Normal Wooper’s evolution Quagsire will be able to learn the Charged Move or Attack Aqua Tail if it has evolved from a Wooper during the Community Day or up to five hours after the event duration has ended. This means that players will be able to teach their Quagsire this move just by evolving it from Wooper before 10 PM on Sunday. Aqua Tail is a 50-Power move both for Battles and Raids or Gyms. As Quagsire is partly a Water type, it will get a good boost to its power with this special move.

Paldean Clodsire will be able to learn the Charged Attack/Move Mega Horn during or up to 10 p.m. on Wooper Community Day. Although it is not a similar type move to the Paldean Clodsire as the move is a Bug Type Attack and Paldean Clodsire is a Poison and Ground Type, it might not get the Same-Type-Move boost but Mega Horn itself is a super powerful move, with a whopping 110-Power for both Player Versus Player battles and Raids and Gym Battles. This will help out Clodsire stand a chance against many type matchups where Opponent Pokemon are weak to Bug Type Moves. You simply have to evolve your Paldean Wooper before 10 p.m. on the Wooper Community Day this Sunday to get it.

Wooper Community Day Bonuses:

Community Days come with many bonuses active throughout the event duration and this one is no different. It also gives players time to be very productive and catch as many Pokemon as they can as well as getting bonus rewards for doing everything the game has to offer.

Aside from the high rate of spawns for both Wooper and Paldean Wooper, the following bonuses will also be active on Wooper Community Day:

  1. Players will get double the amount of candy from catching Pokemon during Wooper Community Day. This will allow everybody to get plenty of Wooper candy for both their forms so they can evolve them and make the most out of the event.
  2. Players will have double the chance to get XL candy from catching Pokemon if they are at least Level 31 or above in Pokemon GO as well.
  3. The hatch-distance of eggs that are incubated during the Community Day will have a 1/4th cut which means players have the perfect chance to clean out their egg inventory and hatch the eggs they have.
  4. Lure Modules will last for three hours instead of the usual one during the event.
  5. Incenses will also last for three houses instead of the usual one during Wooper Community Day. This isn’t for the free daily Incense, however.
  6. Snapshots will give a surprise to players during the Community Day.

Aside from these bonuses for the three-hour event, two bonuses will also be active during and after the event till 10 p.m. on Sunday. The two bonuses are:

  • Players will be able to make 2 Special Trades on Sunday.
  • Trades will cost 50% less Stardust than usual.

There you have it, the perfect day to catch two forms of Wooper, have their evolutions learn two special moves, hatch some eggs and do special trades.

Wooper Community Day 4 Star Raids:

The Special 4 Star Raids are also making a return on November’s Community Day which will feature both Wooper and Paldean Wooper after the event ends. From 5 PM to 10 PM, players can look and beat 4 Star Wooper or Paldean Wooper Raids to unlock bonus spawns of the Community Day Pokemon even after the event has ended, having them spawn around the gym’s vicinity where Wooper or Paldean Wooper is defeated. These Woopers or Paldean Woopers will also have the same chance to be shiny as the spawns from the Community Day between 2 PM and 5 PM. These spawns will happen for 30 minutes. Be mindful however that players will not be able to use Remote Raid Passes to join these Raids, they can only participate by being there at location. They’ll simply need to use normal Raid Passes or Premium Raid Passes to join.

Special Field Research:

Field Research themed around the Community Day will also be available to all players who participate by spinning Discs at Gyms and Pokestops. They’ll manage to get rewards such as encounters with Wooper and Paldean Wooper, Ultra balls, Stardust, and more by completing them.

Special Event Bundles and Boxes:

For those looking to get some more bonuses and helpful items, The ingame Shop will have two box bundles for Community Day.

A cheap one for 480 coins will have 30 Ultra balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators and 1 Lure Module.

A more expensive one for 1350 coins will get you 50 Ultra balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM and 5 Lucky Eggs.

The Pokemon GO Web Store will also host a $9.99 bundle that gives buyers 500 Poke balls, 1 Poffin and 3 Lucky Eggs. Get any or all of them if you’re interested.
