Pokemon GO Tour Sinnoh: Los Angeles Officially Announced

The next big Live event for Pokemon GO has already been announced as Los Angeles will be holding the Pokemon GO Live Sinnoh later next year in February as well as the Global Event for all players a few days after the live event.

Tickets for the GO Tour Sinnoh are already live bring the Gen 4 Sinnoh Region of the games Diamond Pearl, Platinum and their remakes next year. As this year was themed around Gen 3 Hoenn from the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald games, it’s only natural to have the next region for next year with Sinnoh’s Pokemon. Rose Bowl Stadium will be the event venue for tickets set at $25 USD with purchasable add-ons available as well for more bonuses and perks.

All Announced Pokemon GO Tour Features:

Bonuses:

For the exclusive event bouses there will be the following announced as of yet;

  1. Hatch Distance for eggs incubated during the event will be cut in half.
  2. There will be an increased chance of encountering shiny Pokemon of all kinds or at least Sinnoh Pokemon.
  3. Players will get 9 free Raid Passes daily from spinning discs of Pokestops and Gyms.
  4. Players will be able to make 6 special trades daily with no limit on distance.
  5. Stardust’s cost will be cut by half for all trades.

Moreover, the stardust bonus, the egg hatch distance bonus and the special trades bonus will be available to all players between 10 AM to 6 PM on each event day.

For the add-ons aside from the main purchasable ticket, they will give more perks and bonuses to players such as full support for egg hatching with incubators and more, and for Raids, add-ons players will get even more raid passes and XP and more bonuses for clearing and participating in raids. A city-wide add-on will also allow access to all the event’s special bonuses that players can check on Pokemon GO Live’s Add-ons page for the GO Live event if it’s suitable for them to purchase no pass on.

Sinnoh Pokemon

Encounters:

Special Encounters will come in varieties according to four different habitat types which are the following:

The Entangled Ruins Habitat will contain Pikachu Wearing Dawn’s Hat, Tangela, Eevee, Misdreavus, Nosepass, Roselia, Duskull, Turtwig, Kricketot, Burmy Plant Cloak, Combee, Cherubi, Bronzor and more. Every single one of these Pokemon will have their shiny forms available and will benefit from the increased shiny rate bonus during the event. As players can notice these Pokemon are from the Sinnoh region or have an Evolution that was introduced in the Sinnoh games.

The Seaside Metropolis Habitat will contain Pikachu with Dawn’s Hat, Ralts, Piplup, Magnemite, Porygon, Starly, Bidoof, Burmy Trash Cloak, Buizel, Shellos East Sea and West Sea, Drifloon, Glameow, Finnion and more. Same as all other habitats, these will all have their shiny forms available.

The Bubbling Mire Habitat will have Pikachu Wearing Lucas’s Hat, Aipom, Yanma, Gligar, Shinx, Cranidos, Shieldon, Burmy Sandy Cloak, Stunky, Gible, Hippopotas, Skorupi, Croagunk and more, all having shiny forms available too.

Lastly, the Hot Mountain Spring Habitat will have Pikachu Wearing Lucas’s Hat, Lickitung, Rhyhorn, Magmar, Eevee, Togetic, Murkrow, Sneasel, Swinub, Snorunt, Chimchar, Buneary, Snover and more.

There will also be exclusive Incense Encounters that bring Unowns S, I, N, O, H and more for obvious reasons alongside their shiny forms. These exclude the daily incense and will spawn from normal Incense used during the event.

There will also be a Spiritomb Encounter for players at the live location available by spinning 10 of the 108 Pokestops scattered across the venue city. This will be exclusive to a Timed Research available to all ticket owners so players will have to focus on completing this as it will expire after the event ends.

Eggs:

No one can forget the brand new egg Pokemon that were introduced in Sinnoh so the Pokemon Budew, Chingling, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Happiny, Munchlax, Riolu and more will be available from 2km eggs for the duration, Stunky, Gible and more available from 5km eggs, and Pachirisu, Chatot and Carnivine available from 10km eggs for the event.

It is very intriguing as almost everything has an “and more” phrase attached, meaning there could be some special surprises awaiting players that may be announced later. Regardless there are plenty of Pokemon mentioned already coming in the GO Live Los Angeles Event that is enticing already.

Masterwork Research:

With another big yearly event comes another special mythical Pokemon, this time as Sinnoh is the region so Shaymin the Gratitude Grass Type Pokemon for GO Tour Sinnoh. Players will be able to encounter a shiny form if they purchase and participate in the Live event, with global players also having the opportunity to get the Masterwork Research as well. The whole info will be released in due time ahead.

Raids:

For the GO Tour Sinnoh raids, Palkia and Dialga will come as the signature legendaries for the Sinnoh region games, with the event also rewarding players with plenty of raid passes so they can make the most out of it. There is no sight or an appearance for Giratina or Arceus yet, but Niantic has mentioned that more news will be announced later before the event so players can be hopeful.

Special Experiences:

There will be plenty of stuff to enjoy even aside from the gameplay experience as players will come together for GO Tour Sinnoh. There will be special Photo Commemorations, Team Lounges and many other exclusive Live In-person experiences for players can can join and visit the venue. The special live in-person experiences include special Sinnoh snapshots, special Field Research themed around the event and the Sinnoh region, Legendary Pokemon Photo Opportunities and more.

There is also a special story featuring Team Rocket, only this time around they seem to be involved in something complicated and are even asking for players’ help.

This is a big list of some great bonuses and many different kinds of Pokemon for the special event of 2024. If players deem it worthy, they can check the event via ingame or through the official Pokemon GO website if they want to participate actively in a Pokemon GO event next year. There will be plenty of stuff coming ahead through the Timeless Travels season which will be shared in due time.

For now, the early months of 2024 are looking immensely packed as Pokemon GO or Niantic doesn’t look to stop announcing new events and new stuff for the immensely popular mobile game for Pokemon.
