It was not long ago that the last Major Order was completed successfully by dedicated Helldivers and everyone celebrated the liberation of Tien Kwan. With that said, the Helldivers 2 mech suit or Helldivers Exosuit update has finally been deployed! But there’s a bit of a problem going on right now.

We’d speculate an influx of players to try out the new Helldivers exosuits might have caused the failed to connect to server error but looking at the Steam.db charts, it seems like only a quarter of a million players are currently trying to play the game, which suggests that the Helldivers 2 servers are down.
Players are reporting that they’re unable to skip the initial Helldivers 2 cutscene and towards the end of it, they fail to connect to the server. This isn’t just a few players complaining about the issue. Many players in the official Helldivers 2 discord have been facing the same failed to connect to server error, and we are yet to receive a statement from the developers.Â

And with the connection errors and issues, people have been gunning at a few Helldivers 2 developers. Too much hatred can be a bit of a bad thing, and we can’t really blame a single soul for snapping. But in all good faith, the Helldivers 2 dev took back his words in the discord group regarding the online fiasco.
Helldivers 2 is a great game, but it’s having its ups and downs, considering Arrowhead Games Studios never expected such success from an AA extraction shooter. For the time being, we’re waiting for comments from the CEO and the Helldivers 2 devs regarding the ongoing issue. And after everything’s fine and dandy, we’ll get to enjoy the new Helldivers 2 exosuit or mechsuit update.
