Ghost of Tsushima PC Announcement Coming Soon

The fan-beloved PlayStation exclusive Ghost of Tsushima seems to be finally coming to PC. 6 years after releasing Infamous First Light, Sucker Punch released their new IP Ghost of Tsushima in 2020 for PlayStation 4, to critical acclaim. The game’s beauty has been praised far and wide even on the limited 2013 hardware of PlayStation 4, with fans optimistic to experience the game on PC since PlayStation’s PC releases started with Horizon Zero Dawn in August 2020. Now it seems we are finally getting official confirmation for the PC port of Ghost of Tsushima with renowned leaker Shpeshal_Nick sharing that we are possibly getting some official information regarding the port around March 5.

Fans excited over a Possible Ghost of Tsushima PC Port Reveal

XboxEra’s Co-Founder Shpeshal_Nick’s tweet made fans excited for the soon-to-be announcement.

Shpeshal_Nick has been a reliable leaker in the past for both Xbox and PlayStation, with him recently leaking the content of Sony’s last State of Play. Since he is a reliable leaker, it can be certainly expected that the reveal for the PC Port of Ghost of Tsushima will be around March 5. (With Shpeshal_Nick further clarifying the date in a separate tweet).

PC Players have been waiting for the port for more than 3 years, and the tweet’s general reaction is encapsulated well by this fan’s tweet.

Ghost of Tsushima was part of the Nvidia Leak

Nvidia’s Geforce Now Leak is a gift that keeps on giving with the leak cementing itself as one of the biggest leaks in gaming history. The popular Nvidia Geforce Now leak contained multiple unreleased titles and also mentioned multiple PlayStation games like God of War, Returnal and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Edition. Fans were initially sceptical of the leak due to its size and how many unreleased games were part of it, however, the leak continues to prove itself right by predicting the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy and the latest, Helldivers 2. Ghost of Tsushima was also part of the leak so it was just a matter of time before Sony released the game on PC however PlayStation did not release any info or hints regarding the PC Port since the game’s initial launch which made fans think that the game might be skipped.

Ghost of Tsushima’s Beautiful World

Ghost of Tsushima’s beautiful scenery deserves the PC port treatment perhaps more than any other game. The game’s visuals were lauded at release with the hope that they will be one day experienced on PC utilising ray tracing and more. While Ghost of Tsushima’s world is stunning to look at, most of its artistic beauty lends itself to the design and art choices made by Sucker Punch rather than just relying on raw visuals. When the game utilises high-end PC hardware, it will be a sight to behold. We will also post plenty of photo mode shots on EsportsNext when it releases!
