MSI Claw Handheld leaked, Steam Deck Competitor?

MSI’s upcoming gaming handheld, MSI Claw has been leaked on X (formerly Twitter) by @wxnod. With Valve’s revival of the handheld market through their Steam Deck, different companies entered the foray with offerings like the ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, and it seems MSI also wants to play its hand in the handheld market by offering the MSI Claw.

Geekbench

Unlike its competitors, MSI Claw will be powered by an Intel chipset: Core Ultra 7 155H with 16 cores and 22 threads. The handheld will also feature double the RAM of its competitors with 32GB of onboard memory. While we are unaware of other important information including the pricing and screen specifications, MSI’s handheld is gearing up to be strong competition. The MSI handheld has a similar overall look to the ROG Ally aside from being black. Many companies have avoided using Intel’s chips in their handhelds hence it remains to be seen if MSI’s partnership with Intel will have a different outcome.

Fans are already excited about the handheld’s release and the expected benchmarks due to its Meteor Lake Processor. MSI Claw will be officially revealed during CES 2024 and EsportsNext will be covering all the new details that will be dispensed during the show.
