The biggest annual awards in the gaming industry, The Game Awards (TGA) 2023, are going to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 4:30p PT / 7:30p ET / 12:30a GMT. This is the tenth annual The Game Awards taking place and it will be held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles this year and will be live streamed on all platforms as well.
With only 23 days left for the award ceremony, the full lineup of the nominations of various categories have just been revealed on the official website. The categories include Game Direction, Narrative, Art Direction, Audio Design, Performance, Innovation in Accessibility, the most-awaited Game of the Year prize and many others.
Geoff Keighley, Executive Producer and Host of The Game Awards, came live on November 13, 2023, from the Peacock Theater, LA, to announce the nominations for TGA 2023 in more than 30 categories, including the most-awaited, Game of the Year 2023.

2023 has been a big year for the e-sports and gaming industry with so many great games being launched and played around the world. Keigley mentions in the livestream that in TGA 2023, new game announcements from around the world will be shared as well.
In TGA, the winners are finalized based on 90% jury voting and 10% public voting. Fans worldwide can vote for their picks against the nominations on the official website. Fans voting from China can do so on Bilibili, WeChat and other platforms (check the official website for more information).
