The deadly Sykov has been officially launched in Call of Duty: Warzone as well as Modern Warfare. Although the side-arm has been in the games for quite some time now, it wasn’t officially announced by Activision. And since it has been officially introduced now, here’s everything you need to know to unlock the new pistol.
The new weapon might have had one of the most strange releases in the history of Warzone weapons. As not only was it leaked initially but the pistol was then abruptly deployed into the title without any official announcement. And in order to get your hands on the weapon, you had to complete a small in-game task. Players who were able to get the weapon showed how fatal the pistol could be especially with 80-round mag and dual wield attachments.
Eventually, the pistol was officially introduced on April 15 and made available for the players to add to their loadouts. Like every other major weapon in Warzone, acquiring Sykov includes going through a small in-game task first. Players have to get four kills in four different matches using Pistols only. This seems like an easy task as far as Modern Warfare is concerned. All you have to do is land into Shoot the Ship at a close-quarter map and you’ll easily get the job done within just a few minutes. However, in the case of Warzone, the most ideal way to complete the task is to land in Plunder with a majority of pistols in loadout and acquire four kills in five matches.
Best Attachments of Sykov in Warzone
Although Sykov is already among one of the most deadly pistols in Warzone if you want to make it even more powerful and get ahead of your competition, use the below-given combination of attachments.
- Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Rear Grip: VLK Elita
- Perk: Akimbo
Keep in mind that if you like hip-firing more you can change the attachments with a 5mW Laser.
As shown in the video above, once the Sykov is used with the above-mentioned attachments, it turns into a pretty fatal weapon for a pistol. Especially, given the fact that you can utilize both the Pistol and Ghost at the same without any lag. However, if this will stay the same in the future or not, entirely depends on Activision’s decision to nerf it. In the meantime, you can check out the new Radiation Zones in Warzone to avoid any mishap.
