The long-awaited sniper riffle, ZRG 20mm will finally make its entry in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Lucky for you, we know just what you need to do to get your hands on it as soon as it comes.
Initially, when the title Black Ops Cold War was released, it only had three sniper rifles. And players were tired of using the same snipers again and again. Now nearly after five months since the inception of the title, a new sniper rifle is all set to change the total count to four.
With that being said, the ZRG 20mm was first revealed back in February as a part of Season 2. Ever since its first look was uncovered, players have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the weapon. But to our dismay, ZRG 20mm still does not have a release date. However, it is safe to say that the new weapon will be arriving soon as Season 3 is just a few weeks away.
Here’s How To Unlock The ZRG in Warzone and BOCW
The best part about the hottest new addition is that players of both Warzone and BOCW can enjoy it. To your delight, we know exactly what you need to do to get your hands on the sniper, thanks to some initial leaks. Just like other major weapons in Call of Duty, ZRG 20mm can only be availed if you are worthy. This means that you have to earn it. According to a leak from a CoD insider “TailsDoll553“, you have to complete a special task to unlock the weapon.
So basically when the weapon launches, you will have to acquire two longshot medals in 15 matches. The best way to achieve this objective is to land at wide-open places. Of course, if you have been playing both the titles for quite some time now, this won’t be much of a hassle for you.
However, for those who are new to the game, the easiest way to complete the objective is to land in a Hardcore mode. Every shot you take here will guarantee a kill and you won’t have to worry about annoying hitmakers either. Take out your sniper, settle yourself at a sound location on the map and start scouting enemies. If you have followed all the instructions carefully, you’ll be taking out two to three opponents per match easily.
Consequently, if you are exclusively a Warzone player, Respwan-Friendly mode should be your go-to choice. As vouching for a normal battle royale match would cost you a lot of time loading into new lobbies.
