Apex Legends is a totally free-to-play first-person shooter game by EA (Electronic Arts) and developed by Respawn Entertainment. The game was made at the beginning of 2019 and has since become very popular in the gaming world. Being played by more than 100 million players around the world. It is played on PC as well as available on every other console. With this continued success they have reached their 9th season.
The ninth season of Apex Legends is being called Legacy. With this new season, the developers have also brought in a new Legend as well named “Valkyrie”. As the trailer shows the new character fighting her competition. Now a new character is not the only thing they are adding to the game with the new season. As Ryan K. Rigney, the director at Comms at Respawn, has tweeted that they will also be adding in a new mode as well.
What Else Is Apex Legends Bringing In The New Season?
The new mode that will be coming is named ‘Arenas’. While there isn’t much information on this mode there are rumors going around saying that this new mode will be a 3v3 mode. As others are saying that it will be closer to Titanfall’s arena-style mode. While players will not have to wait long to find out what it is as they will be releasing official gameplay reveal on April 26th. If the rumors are true then this will be very different from the battle royale that Apex players are used to.
While there hasn’t been any confirmation as of yet, there is also a possibility of Ash (From Titanfall 2) joining the new season as well. As she has also been shown in the trailer for season 9 as well. While all of these are speculations up till now, we will see in the coming weeks how Apex will handle the new season’s release.
