Black Ops Cold War – Best Weapons for Season 1

Black Ops Cold War players recently got to see the first season of the game. This also marked the the start of Warzone’s journey in the game. The first season added a plethora of new content, such as new weapons, Operators, maps, and more. It also brought a number of changes to the overall game.

Black Ops Cold War Best Season 1 Weapons

At the moment, there are more than 30 weapons for players to choose from in Black Ops Cold War. Every weapon is different and unique in its own way. From Assault Rifles to Snipers, the game offers them all. And since there are plenty of them, it can become quite difficult to choose the right form. Therefore, today we will be talking about some of the best weapons you should choose in Black Ops Cold War Season 1.

Shortly after Black Ops Cold War was launched, the MP5 was instantly declared as the best SMG in the game. However, after a few weeks, the developers decided to nerf its damage, something which allowed other SMGs to come into the spotlight. Players then started trying out all the other SMGs present in the game, and the AK-74u then became the new fan favorite. The thing which we personally love about this weapon is its rate of fire and the amount of damage it offers. Furthermore, you can upgrade it using a 40 round magazine attachment, something that will help you with not worrying about reloading more often.

Another SMG on our list is the MAC-10. This weapon was added to the game in Season 1 and can be unlocked through the Battle Pass. The thing which almost every player loves about this weapon is how quickly it can take down an opponent. As soon as you press the fire button, the MAC-10 will empty its clip on your target. The only downside about this weapon is that its recoil can sometimes become too difficult to handle. However, once you learn how to control it, no one will be able to stop you from going on a killing spree.

The AK-47 has remained a popular weapon in almost every Call of Duty game. However, during the first few weeks of Black Ops Cold War, the AUG and FFAR 1 took the lead from it. But after the developers nerfed these two weapons, everyone turned towards the AK-47. It offers a high amount of damage per bullet, something that is not offered by other Assault Rifles. In addition to this, its recoil is pretty amazing, thus making the weapon easy to control. But you will need to get used to its slow rate of fire as many players have complained about it.

Krig 6

The Krig 6 is undoubtedly one of the best Assault Rifles to use in Black Ops Cold War. It offers a high rate of fire with great damage output. The only thing which we don’t like about this weapon is its recoil. But unlike other Assault Rifles present in the game, you can learn its spray pattern quickly. This is something that will help you learn how to control this weapon quickly. Just like the AK-74u, the Krig 6 also came into the spotlight after other weapons in its category got nerfed.

Gallo SA12

As for a Shotgun, we will suggest no weapon other than the Gallo SA12. This weapon is absolutely deadly in close-ranged combat and can help you bag in a lot of kills. While it may not let you take down your opponent in one shot, its high rate of fire can compensate for it. The best part is that the developers have allowed players to use a Shotgun as a secondary weapon. Another amazing thing about this weapon is that you don’t need to worry about aiming down sight every time you see an enemy as its hip fire is pretty accurate.

LW3-Tundra Sniper Rifle

The final weapon we have on our list is the LW3-Tundra Sniper Rifle. If you’re looking for something that can help you bag in kills from far away, then there is no weapon better than this one for that purpose. As it’s a bolt-action Sniper, every shot fired from it is deadly. This means that you can even take down your opponent in a single shot if it it’s above the chest.

These were some of the best weapons to use in Black Ops Cold War Season 1.
