2020 was a tough year as the Coronavirus pandemic put everything on hold. Since the start of this year, authorities all over the world are telling people to stay inside their homes to prevent the virus from spreading. This has also caused a lot of offices to switch to work-from-home environment. Because of this reason, many video games that were in development have been delayed. Thankfully, we’ll be getting our hands on a big title after a few weeks.

Call of Duty releases a new game every year, and 2020 is going to be no different. In only two weeks, we’ll be able to play the latest installment in the series called Black Ops Cold War. Although the developers had to face some issues because of the work-from-home environment, they managed to schedule its release for this year. And now, they have even revealed the official PC requirements for the game.

While console players will be able to enjoy the game without any hurdles, PC players might have to do some upgrading. Before this day, the developers were silent about the PC version and they didn’t talk much about it. However, they have now decided to let PC players know that hardware they will need in order to run the game smoothly.   • CPU: Intel Core I3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
  • HDD: 50GB for MP only, 175GB for all game modes
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 670/Geforce GTX 1650/Radeon HD 7950

Black Ops Cold War Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • RAM: 12GB
  • CPU: Intel Core I5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X
  • HDD: 175GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970/GTX 1660 Super or Radeon R9 390/AMD RX 580

Black Ops Cold War Ultra RTX System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • RAM: 16GB
  • CPU: Intel I9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 3700X
  • HDD: 250GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080

As you can see above, you will need a decent card if you want to enjoy the game smoothly. However, if you’re planning to experience the game in its full potential, then you might have to do some upgrading. But even if you can’t match any of these two, then you might be able to enjoy the game in low settings if you have a PC with old hardware.
