Apex Legends – Best Weapons for Season 7

Apex Legends Season 7 didn’t introduce any new weapons to the game. However, there are still 24 weapons for you to choose from. Most of these weapons can be found as regular loot, but some are care package weapons only.

Apex Legends Season 7 Best Weapons

While Respawn has failed to add a new weapon in the latest season, it has made various changes to the already existing ones. For instance, the popular R-99 SMG has been taken out of the care package and is now available as regular loot. However, the Prowler has ended up replacing its spot. Today, we will be talking about the best weapons to choose from in Apex Legends Season 7.

Devotion – LMG

The Devotion LMG remained a care package weapon for a number of seasons. However, in Season 6, it was taken out of it. This LMG is easily one of the best weapons in the game. This is mainly because it deals around 255 damage per second. The weapon uses energy ammo and can help you annihilate an entire squad within seconds. The only downside about this weapon is that you will first have to learn how to handle it. However, once you do that, no one will be able to stop you from going on a killing spree.

Mastiff – Shotgun

After the Mastiff replaced Peacekeeper as regular loot, it has become the top weapon for close-range combat. This shotgun is extremely powerful and deadly as it deals 104 damage on the chest. However, if you land a perfect shot to the head, you’ll be dealing around 128 damage. This means that you can take down your enemy in only two shots. We suggest you carry around an AR or LMG with it as the Mastiff isn’t great in mid-range combat.

R-301 – Assault Rifle

If you’ve been playing Apex Legends since the start, then you must know how popular the R-301 is. This Assault Rifle has always remained a popular pick as it is considered perfect for both close to mid-range combat. The best part about this weapon is that it’s not that difficult to handle, meaning that you won’t have to spend a lot of time with it in the firing range. The R-301 can be a perfect option for both early game situations as well as the final circle.

R-99 – SMG

The R-99 is back as regular loot in Apex Legends Season 7. It was made a care package weapon in Season 6, but the players were against this decision. This is why Respawn had to bring it back to its old state. The weapon will feel a little different since its damage has been reduced from 12 to 11. However, it is still the most deadly SMG in all of Apex. Almost every player loves how quickly it empties its magazine. However, we will suggest you don’t spray aimlessly as you might run out of bullets before you meet another squad.

Apex Legends

Wingman – Pistol

Wingman is a weapon you’ll see in the hands of some top professional streamers. While this weapon is extremely hard to handle, no other can come close to its power. Its single shot mechanism is something that can help you land accurate headshots, through which you’ll deal around 100 damage. This means that you can take down your enemy in only a few shots. However, this will happen only if you manage to land all of your shots accurately. If you can’t, then we’ll suggest you spend time with it in the firing range.

Longbow DMR – Sniper

When it comes to Snipers, Apex has a bunch of them. We won’t be talking about the Kraber since it’s a care package weapon and everyone knows how powerful it is. But outside the care packages, the Longbow DMR is easily the best Sniper available in Apex Legends. This is mainly because it deals 50 damage per shot, meaning that you can break the shield of your enemy in only two shots. While its headshot damage was decreased to 2.1 from 2.15 in Season 5, you can use the Skullpiercer hop-up to fill this gap up. Even if you can’t manage to find a scope, its iron sight can help you fight against nearby enemies.

These were some of the best weapons to choose from in Apex Legends Season 7. Make sure to spend some time with all of them in the firing range to learn how they work.
