This year, Halloween is going to be different. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the authorities have requested everyone to stay inside their home to prevent the virus from spreading further. This is why we won’t be seeing a lot of people on the streets on this Halloween dressed in their respective costumes. Fortunately, various game developers are trying their best to introduce some amazing in-game Halloween events for their players.

Pokemon Go always celebrates Halloween to the fullest. Last year, everyone had a blast thanks to all the amazing things that were introduced during the event. And this year, it’s going to be the same. In fact, judging from the recent teasers, it seems like this year’s event is going to be even bigger and better.

The official Twitter account of the mobile game has already started posting teasers to start building up hype for the upcoming event. The first teaser featured Yamask, the very Pokemon that evolves into Reunerigus. This ended up creating a lot of hype for the upcoming event, and players now know they will be seeing big things in a couple of days.

While the developers are yet to reveal more about the upcoming Halloween event, data miners are also busy trying to find information on their own. Thankfully, a data miner who goes by the name Martycochrane on Reddit has managed to get his hands on some exclusive information. He was digging through the game’s files with the hope of finding some stuff about the Halloween event, and luckily he did.

Leaked Information

As per the data miner, there will be new Pokedex entries for the Halloween event which include Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Rapidash, Galarian Yanmask, and Runerigus. In addition to this, players can expect to see different types of clothing such as masks, gengar onesie, and yanmask top hat. Other leaked things include Spooky Pose, Crown Tundra Clothing, Halloween Box Names, Halloween Research – A Spooky Message Unmasked, and the Grubhub event.

Judging from the leaked information, the Halloween event is going to be a blast. At the moment, it is yet to be revealed exactly when the event will go live. Last year, the event started on October 17. However, this time, it’s expected to go live during the last week of this month. Since there are still a couple of days left until it happens, we can expect more information about it to come to the surface.
