Apex Legends Wraith Guide – Tips To Master Her

Apex Legends Wraith Guide – Tips To Master Her

Apex Legends is all about choosing the right character. If you end up playing with the wrong Legend, then you won’t be able to go far. Unlike other battle royale games, Apex offers a fast-paced combat experience and the right Legend will always help you overcome various difficulties. Out of all Legends in Apex Legends, Wraith is considered as one of the best ones. Today, we’ll be talking about how you can master this Legend quickly.

Apex Legends Guide for Wraith

Wraith is one of those Legends who have been in Apex since the start. The most interesting thing is that she always remained a popular pick in almost every season. Wraith’s abilities focus on a stealthier experience, yet she can become aggressive if she wants to. If in the right hands, she can become a useful asset to her teammates while giving her opponents a tough time. However, keep in mind that Wraith isn’t for new players. Until and unless you master her, you can’t enjoy full potential. Therefore, it is really important to first learn as much as you can about her abilities.

Passive Ability

Passive abilities in Apex Legends work automatically. As for Wraith, her Passive is called Voices from the Void and it works as a warning system. In the game’s lore, we saw that Wraith was getting warned about her enemies by the voices inside her head that only she can hear. In an actual match, these voices will tell you about the presence of nearby enemies.

Apex Legends

This warning system can work similarly to Bloodhound’s tracking system as it allows you to know where your enemies are. However, since you’ll be the only one hearing these voices, it will be your responsibility to warn your teammates. If you don’t have voice chat enabled, then it won’t do much since the in-game text chat is somewhat time-consuming. In any case, this ability is surely one of the most useful ones in all of Apex since a few seconds are all you need to prepare yourself for a gunfight.

Tactical Ability

Wraith’s Tactical ability is called Into the Void and it gives you the ultimate luxury of disappearing for a few seconds. This ability is popularly known as “Phasing” since Wraith uses this word whenever you trigger it. What it does is that it makes her invisible for a total of 3 seconds and increases her movement speed. However, you cannot see other players when this ability is active as it basically sends you to another dimension. In addition to this, you won’t be able to use your weapons during these 3 seconds.

The best part is that you won’t receive any damage while you’re invisible, meaning that it’s perfect for times when you want to escape a critical gunfight. Or, if you’re getting shot by a sniper from far away, then you can use it to move to a different position. The only downside about this ability is that you won’t be “completely invisible” during the 3 seconds. You will basically appear as a trail of blue lines, and it isn’t that difficult for enemies to follow where these lines are going. Therefore, make sure to reposition yourself effectively.

Ultimate Ability

Finally, we have her Ultimate ability called the Dimensional Rift. This ability basically lets her create a portal in the middle of nowhere. Once activated, you will be able to place a portal from the point of activation to anywhere you go. However, you cannot place the second end of the portal far away as you will be using Rift Energy as you move. Once it hits 0%, the portal will automatically place the second end at that location.

Apex Legends

The portal is perfect for multiple situations. For instance, you can use to reach the location of the enemy squad quickly, or you can use it to escape when you’re low on health. However, keep in mind that other than you and your teammates, the enemy squads can also use your portal. After you place it, it will exist for around 60 seconds. After that, you will have to wait around 2 minutes and 30 seconds for your Ultimate to charge again.

Best Teammates

Bangalore and Mirage are considered as the best teammates for Wraith. Mirage is someone who offers cloaking abilities, something which can convert him and Wraith into the ultimate flanking duo. On the other hand, Wraith can easily make her way out of Bangalore’s smoke and her Ultimate ability as well.

This was our guide on how to master Wraith in Apex Legends. We hope that it will help you out. Also, make sure to check out how you can play well with Octane.
