Valorant: Three Features Riot Games Must Add

Valorant: Three Features Riot Games Must Add

Valorant’s launch has been a success so far. Millions of players from different parts of the world are currently enjoying the game. After being in the beta stage of around seven weeks, Riot Games finally decided to release it a few days back. The launch was expected considering Riot previously promised us a summer release. However, some players were still worried because the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak has set back a lot of projects. Thankfully, Valorant wasn’t one of them.

Features We Want To See In Valorant Soon

Valorant is currently trying to create a name for itself in the esports industry. Riot Games has done a remarkable job of trying their best to keep it enjoyable for everyone. However, despite this, there are still many features missing from the game. Today, we’ll be talking about three amazing features that Riot should consider adding in the future.

A Proper Replay System

If you’re currently playing Valorant, then you must be aware of the fact that there is currently no replay system in the game. The only way you can look at your gameplay is if you record it yourself by using third-party recording software. In addition to this, the current spectating system of the game isn’t that good too. It offers no time controls, something which makes it difficult for players to go back to watch some amazing moments.

If Riot Games adds a replay system in Valorant, then they will eliminate a lot of issues. Players won’t have to rely on any third-party software to record their gameplays, and they will have much more freedom over them. It will also allow them to go backward and see what mistakes got them killed or what strategies proved to be successful for them. Riot Games has previously confirmed that a replay system is in the works, but we currently don’t know exactly when it will arrive.

League of Legends Clash-Tournament System

Considering Valorant is fairly new, Riot Games will be testing out different strategies to make it even better. One of the things that can make it more enjoyable is Clash-style tournaments. For those who don’t know, Clash was introduced in League of Legends in recent years. It allows players to participate in in-game tournaments with lots of prizes on the line. This way, players don’t have to rely on third-party events to showcase their skills.

At the moment, Riot Games is yet to work on something like this for Valorant. We have already seen that CS:GO players get to enjoy services like FACEIT and ESEA, but Valorant lacks these. But then again, CS:GO is a really old title and is considered as one of the biggest esports titles in the world. If Riot is planning to cross CS:GO, then they will have to introduce something different. If the developers introduce the Clash system in Valorant too, then they can simply put players of the same rank against each other to enhance their competitive experience. However, keep in mind that Riot hasn’t talked about anything like this, so we might have to wait for months or years to see it.

Deathmatch Mode

The final thing we’d like Riot Games to add is a free-for-all Deathmatch mode. For those who don’t know, Valorant only has one game mode. If you’re playing Unrated or Spike Rush, you have the same goal of planting the spike. There exists a practice mode, but it still isn’t what players actually want. While the developers have confirmed that they are planning to introduce Deathmatch and other modes soon, we currently don’t know when they will arrive.

Deathmatch mode will basically give players the ultimate practice experience. It will allow them to practice in a player-versus-player environment. We have already seen how popular these modes are in other games such as CS:GO. They allow players to warm up before getting into a serious match. A free-for-all mode will let players see where they stand alone, while a team Deathmatch mode will allow teams to practice their skills altogether.

These were some features that we would like to see in Valorant soon. Riot Games will be expanding their game in the coming months, so we can expect a lot more to arrive other than this. If you’re new to Valorant, then make sure to check out how you can unlock Agents quickly.
