Apex Legends is a fast-paced battle royale game in which one wrong mistake can get you instantly killed. Unlike Fortnite or PUBG, Apex features an environment where you have to be quick about everything. This is the very reason why the game’s characters have their own set of unique abilities that can help them escape crucial situations instantly. Even if you happen to get killed, you can always get respawned by your teammates. However, the developers are introducing some new changes to the respawning method next week.
Apex Legends Mobile Respawn Beacons
Apex Legends players will get to enjoy a brand new event called Lost and Treasures Collection Event next week. This new event is going to feature some new cosmetic items, challenges, and much more. In addition to this, players will also get to enjoy a brand new mode called Armed and Dangerous Evolved LTM. This mode will remain in the game until the event comes to an end. However, the thing which has left everyone excited is the introduction of Mobile Respawn Beacons.
Since Apex’s release, the only way to bring a teammate back to life is by using a Respawn Beacon. These beacons are placed throughout the map, and you will need the banner of your dead teammate in order to respawn him. But now, things are going to change soon as Respawn is planning to introduce Mobile Respawn Beacons next week. These will basically allow players to carry them and place them where ever they like. There are times when you’re about to bring your teammate back to life by using a Respawn Beacon, but an enemy team already has eyes on it. As soon as your teammate lands, he is sent back to where he came from. However, once the Mobile Respawn Beacons arrive, you will be able to use them at a safe location.
How They Work
The Mobile Respawn Beacons will work in the same way as Lifeline’s Care Package. All you will have to do is place it at a specific drop location and it will then fall from the sky. Compared to the original Respawn Beacon, the Mobile version will be much smaller. An important thing to keep in mind here is that you will be only able to redeploy one teammate through it.
The Mobile Respawn Beacons will be introduced first in the Armed and Dangerous Evolved LTM. After the event ends, these beacons will be added to the regular as well as ranked mode. Meanwhile, the game has been confirmed to arrive on the Nintendo Switch.
