Riot Games is gearing up for the full release of Valorant as we’re close to Summer. At the moment, there has been no announcement from the developers regarding any delays because of the work-from-home situation. However, we still can’t be sure until an official release date is provided. Despite this, a number of players are still enjoying the game as it is currently in its beta stage. The closed-beta went live on April 7, and players who received a key to it were able to jump into it. Now, it seems like Riot might be planning to introduce a new game mode to Valorant soon.
Valorant Team Deathmatch Mode Leaked
Since Valorant’s closed-beta went live, Riot has been continuously analyzing the feedback to see how they can improve their game further. So far, they have introduced many changes and improvements to it. Even though the game is fun and all, there are still a lot of modes that are yet to be added. Recently, it was leaked that the developers might be working on the Team Deathmatch mode. For those who don’t know, this mode is one of the most popular ones, and it won’t be a surprise if Riot adds it to Valorant.
A popular Twitter account that is known for leaking many things about the game was the first one to update fans regarding the TDM mode. He decided to search through the game’s files and discovered that the mode is indeed in the works. He was able to find works such as “TDM” and “Team Deathmatch” which indicate the possibility of it. Sadly, he was unable to find exactly when this mode is going to arrive.
What The Devs Say About It
Salvatore “Volcano” Garozzo, Valorant’s developer also talked about the TDM mode during a stream on Twitch that day. He claimed that they are interested in introducing a warmup/deathmatch style mode for players to practice and get used to the playstyle. However, he mentioned that he doesn’t know when it will be available.
Other than TDM, there are many other modes that should arrive in Valorant to make the game more fun. These include Sniper Only, One Shot Kill, Capture the Flag, and many more. These modes are already found in many multiplayer games such as Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, and CS:GO. Since Riot wants to create a big esports scene for their first FPS title, they will have to satisfy every player. And they can only do this by making it better than other games.
