There never seems to come a moment when Pokemon Go players do not get ongoing events of some sort. Niantic regulates frequent updates that keep the game fresh for players to come back each day. Players always return to a timeframe where there is plenty to enjoy. The last month of April showcased the Abra Community Day returning alongside much more in the last few days of the month. And now, Pokemon Go is administering that seems to be one of the biggest events the game is seen, and it shall be running for the whole month of May.

The Throwback Challenge; Pokemon Go commemorate a return of all generations of Pokemon from the first to the newest ones that have never been seen before in the game. Niantic has given a series of limited-time tasks that if completed, will reward players with the biggest prizes from each specific generation. Starting with Kanto, and throughout till the Galar, completion will give the chance to catch the generation-specific legendary or mythical Pokemon. Alongside this, there are many more bonuses as well for task completion. These tasks shall run for about six days each for the whole month of May.
