Modern Warfare season 3 was kind enough to introduce a lot of new content to both the game and Warzone. The third season is half over and Infinity Ward has already introduced a lot of tweaks and content during the first half. Now that we’re entering the second half, players are left wondering what will they get next. And recently, Infinity Ward has decided to give us an update regarding what’s coming to Modern Warfare and Warzone this week.
Modern Warfare New Operator – Iskra
To begin with, players will finally get to see Iskra as a playable character in Modern Warfare. She will be making her debut as an Operator this week. This was expected considering everyone knew about this after her bundle made an appearance in the store accidentally. Since then, we have just been waiting for the official word. Iskra belongs to the Chimera Faction and she will enter the game with two Legendary weapon blueprints. In addition to this, her bundle will also offer a Legendary knife skin, an in-game watch, and a helicopter skin.
Warzone – New Twin Suns Bundle
A new bundle called “Twin Suns” bundle will become available in Warzone this week. The best part is that it will appear in the store throughout the week. The bundle features a “Parallax” LMG weapon blueprint as well as a Legendary handgun blueprint. So if you were looking for a way to get your hands on some exotic weapons, this is your chance. The best part about both weapons is that they are designed to operate silently.
Modern Warfare – New Playlist
Modern Warfare players will also enjoy a brand new playlist in which they will have to use knives only. The new playlist will offer a 3v3 Knife Only combat experience, something which almost every player loves. In addition to this, the developers are also adding Shoot the Rusty Ship 24/7 to the game. Players will see a combination of Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House.
Bugs & Glitches
Infinity Ward is also introducing fixes for a handful of issues that were being faced by players in both Modern Warfare and Warzone. In Modern Warfare multiplayer, the regiments that were causing the ’13-71′ error will finally get fixed. The season 3 emblems that were not appearing with the developer names have also been fixed. As for Warzone, players will no longer see the corrupted white lighting that appeared when they moved or fired a weapon near certain areas.
The upcoming update that will bring all this content to the game will go live on May 13.
