Illuminar Roster Reveal: Will Snax Be The New Star Player?

Illuminar Origin

Illuminar is one of the top 2 Polish teams the other team being AGO and, ranked #57 in the world right now. The organization formed in 2018 under the reigns of Mateusz Kowalczyk. Since then, it has gone through a lot of roster changes, disbands and, whatnot.

The organization is involved in not just CS:GO, but also League Of Legends, Rocket League and, Hearthstone.

Roster Changes

Their first roster in 2020 consisted of players:

  • Paweł “innocent” Mocek
  • Paweł “reatz” Jańczak
  • Oskar “oskarish” Stenborowski
  • Michał “mono” Gabszewicz
  • Daniel “STOMP” Płomiński

Roster shuffles for the team began in February, with two players getting benched, oskarish and STOMP. oskarish later joined AGO while, STOMP is currently not playing under any banner as far as anyone is aware.

Later on, they were practicing with ex AGO and VP player Michał “snatchie” Rudzki and ex ARCY player Karol “rallen” Rodowicz but, this isn’t where they settled. They went on with the roster changes finally settling on, an ex VP player and a star in the past, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski. That’s not all though they also recruited Arek “Vegi” Nawojski to their ranks, another ex VP player and, Mikołaj “mouz” Karolewski who has been teamless since the disband at ARCY.

So now the new lineup is:

  • Paweł “innocent” Mocek
  • Paweł “reatz” Jańczak
  • Mikołaj “mouz” Karolewski
  • Arek “Vegi” Nawojski
  • Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski

There’s no telling if the new additions to Illuminar will be enough to bring the team back to life from ashes or, there’s just no hope. Will Snax be able to return to his glory days and again, make his name in a time where many new names have risen to the top?

Organizers are focusing more now on online tournaments and their qualifiers. It’s high time for teams to make sure they have the right players for the right job.

There’s a lot more competition this year and, that means there’s more pressure on the older players and teams. The fans are excited to see how some of their old favorites perform, including Snax.
