The Fortnite Competitive Team recently announced the coming competition heading to the game. The FNCS Invitational will be commencing on 9th May, with the best of each region going head to head for the final battle to the top.

This marks the online scene of competition for Fortnite; what the future holds for professional esports players of the title.

On the heels of crowning this season’s FNCS Champions, we’re excited to announce our next round of competition is right around the corner: The FNCS Invitational.

Beginning Saturday, May 9, the FNCS Invitational will take place over the following three weekends. We’re inviting the best of the best in each region:

  • The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 PC FNCS Finals
  • The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 Console/Mobile FNCS Finals
  • The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 1 FNCS Finals
  • The top 100 players from Season X FNCS Finals
  • Up to 100 players invited directly by Epic

Furthermore, Interested in participating yourself? On May 2, we’ll kick off an Open Qualifier for Champion ranked players. Also, an additional 100 players in each region will have an opportunity to earn an invite to the FNCS Invitational, giving you the chance to play against some of the biggest names in Competitive Fortnite and a share of the $2,000,000 prize pool.

Furthermore, the prospects of the massively popular title still show to grow; with its esports scene on the constant rise without any sign of slowing down. There does not seem to be anything that hinders the title’s way to becoming an ever bigger title than it is now. Thus the current season of gameplay shall decide who will be competing for the FNCS Invitational, and who will fall down. Concludingly, there will be the time when top tier players will go head to head; to decide once more who will reach the highest podium.
