‘Earlier this year the Call Of Duty League enjoyed an incredible launch. Debuting 12 city-based teams across four countries, stacked with the best Call of Duty players in the world; competing live before thousands of fans for the right to be considered the greatest on earth.
While the unprecedented global challenges of the past month required us to shift away from live events, our commitment to delivering elite competitive entertainment for our fans remains unwavering. Today, we are proud to announce that the world’s best players are returning; this Friday, April 10 at 4 p.m. ET, with the league shifting to an online competition and broadcast production format.’
The Dallas Home Series Weekend will broadcast live this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on our YouTube channel, and will feature eight teams in action—including the Chicago Huntsmen, Dallas Empire, Florida Mutineers, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Minnesota Røkkr, Paris Legion, Seattle Surge, and Toronto Ultra. All teams shall work from their own safely chosen locations.
‘In this new online format, all personnel will compete and work safely from locations of their choice; in accordance with current health and safety recommendations and governmental mandates.’
As all matches shall follow the online format, the organizers stated that they shall make sure to keep the enjoyment and the action at the same peak state Call Of Duty League has had all this time. The online format shall not affect the performance of players or the team, or anything, in any way.
