Apex Legends has a wide range of characters to choose from. Every character has its own set of unique abilities that can be used during the match. While Respawn has done a remarkable job by giving a unique backstory to every character, there is still something wrong with a few of them. There are some legends who are just too weak. Although the developers have introduced buffs for a number of characters, there are some who have gone unnoticed. The same can be said for Mirage, but this will change soon.
Apex Legends Mirage
Mirage is one of those characters who have been in the game since the start. Although players had to unlock him by spending 12,000, no one has regretted this decision. However, the thing which has bothered many players is that Mirage hasn’t received any major buffs since season 2. The game is currently at the end of its fourth season, and things are still the same. But this might change soon as the devs have confirmed buffs for the Holographic Trickster are on their way.
Mirage Buffs Are Coming
As many players in the Apex community were complaining about Mirage’s meta and were requesting buffs for it, Respawn has finally decided to take action. This happened right after the character received a surprise buff in the recent patch, which has set his ability to a 25-second cooldown. But the game’s designer Carlos Pineda later confirmed that this was a mistake as they were planning something else for him. He then went on to assure fans that more buffs are coming.
While talking about Mirage, Pineda confirmed that he feels people talking about Mirage buffs, and the only thing he has to say about this matter is that it’s coming. At the moment, we currently don’t know exactly when these buffs are going to arrive. Pineda failed to provide an exact release date for them, but we can expect to see the buffs soon. This is because Respawn wouldn’t want their fans to wait more since they already have been requesting these buffs since season 2.
It might be a possibility that Respawn introduces the buffs for Mirage in season 5. The next season is currently scheduled to go live in the first week of May. Considering it will feature a new legend, the developers might also decide to buff Mirage in it. However, all of these are speculations and we’ll only know the official release when Respawn confirms it.
