However, most of the content arrives with a new season. So far, players have enjoyed a total of 4 of them. Apex Legends is currently in its fourth season. The latest one added the much-anticipated Revenant to the game’s list of characters. It also introduced Kings Canyon in ranked mode during the second split. And there’s still some time left for the season to end so fans can expect to see more. But now that the fourth season will end in a few weeks, fans are now wondering about the fifth season.

Apex Legends Designer Talks About Future Content

Recently, Jason McCord decided to update fans regarding Respawn’s future plans for Apex Legends. For those who don’t know, McCord is the game’s design director. He claimed that he woke up to a reply of streamer asking them to do more about the game. In reply to him, McCord claimed that they are updating the game as fast as they can, and there’s nothing more they can do. He also assured players that they have a lot of stuff planned for the game, but such things take a lot of time.

Some players started making comments claiming that Respawn has been slow when it comes to introducing big changes to Apex. But McCord was quick to answer that the developers’ team is always “hard at work” while creating future content. Leaving many fans excited, McCord went on to add that they are already testing content for season 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Surprise For Titanfall Fans

Soon after he revealed this, fans started wondering exactly what these future seasons are going to feature. While McCord didn’t go in-depth, he did mention that they are always bringing in stuff from the Titanfall universe and that there could be a pleasant surprise for Titanfall fans in season 5. Respawn is currently bringing Prowlers from the Titanfall universe that will make their way through the Bloodhound Town Takeover event.

Apex Legends season 5 is currently expected to go live on May 5, 2020. We will most likely start seeing some in-game teasers for it once the Bloodhound event ends.
