After a number of leaks, Respawn Entertainment has finally confirmed that they will be introducing a new limited-time mode to Apex Legends. That’s right, the battle royale will be indeed getting a new LTM before moving on to the fifth season. The new LTM is going to be different and interesting than the previous ones as it is going to focus on a specific type of armor. In addition to this, there are going to be four different versions of this event.
Apex Legends Battle Armor Event
The new LTM is called Battle Armor. It is going to be held for 14 days and will take place in World’s Edge. There are going to be four rotations of the mode, and each rotation will feature a different type of armor. The game will shower players with the specific type of armor, and they will have it equipped along with a P2020 pistol.
During each version, every body shield will be removed from the map. Players won’t be able to find it anywhere, meaning that they will have to rely on their equipped one. Don’t worry, you will still be able to pick up shield cells, batteries, and every other type of loot during the match.
As per Respawn, the first version of the Battle Armor event will feature the Level 1 White Armor and it will go live on April 28 and will end on May 2nd. The second version featuring the Level 2 Blue Armor will become available from May 2 to May 6, while the third version featuring the Level 3 Purple Armor will take place from May 6 to May 9. As for the fourth version, players will be able to enjoy it from May 9 to 12, and it will shower them with the Evo Shield.
The Design Director of Apex Legends, Jason McCord claimed that they have been hearing many fun ideas to play Apex Legends from their fans. And the upcoming mode is one of his favorite ones. He also advised players that in the fourth version, everyone should play aggressively at the start so that they are not left with a low-level Evo Shield in the final circle. Players will also get excited to know that they will get a double XP reward if they finish in the top 5 in any mode.
Apex Legends Season 5
Apex Legends Season 5 has also been delayed. The delay has taken place to give players more time to complete their battle pass. In addition to this, this will also give Respawn time to host the new LTM.
