ESL One Los Angeles heads off to a timely start with no slowing down due to the Corona Virus. Although the organization is heavily monitoring the situation, they have released the first playoffs.

Playoffs:

The Brackets have come forward divided into four. Bracket A and B will commence on March 15th and will showcase Team Secret versus Thunder Predator. Royal Never Give Up and Navi are also in Bracket A that will face each other on the same day.

Similarly, Bracket B will commence on the same day with Evil Geniuses facing against the Two Time TI Champions OG. There is high anticipation on the first day due to this playoff. Both teams have contended highly for top tier DOTA 2 and have shown they are capable to be at the top. The other two teams facing each other in the Bracket are Chaos Esports and Geek Fam.

These matches shall ignite the start of the ESL Major 2020.

On the other hand, the other two groups, Bracket C and D, will commence a day after the previous two Brackets.

On 16th March Bracket C will showcase Invictus Gaming going head to head with Ninjas in Pajamas Fnatic will duel it out against Ehome in the same Bracket.

Bracket D will have the CIS giants Virtus Pro versus Beastcoast, alongside Adroit Vs Team Aster. Team Aster gained a slot at the major by winning the concluding minor at Kyiv, and are showing that they will be the top contenders for the major as well.

DOTA 2 MAJOR:

A total of US$ 1million prize-pool will be distributed in the Major to the top teams. Not only that, the biggest reward is the distribution of the 15,000 DPC points. These points lay the basis that which team shall go to The International, DOTA 2’s largest Esports Event of the year. This is why people hail them to be the turning-grounds of the DOTA 2 Pro Circuit. Thus it is a case at hand that the winners of a Major are almost fully credited with enough DPC points to take them to the bigger stage. Major winners have been going to The International in the past years. For all other info on the topic, you can check out our ESL Los Angeles Major 2020 Article.
